2006: Saw action at wide receiver in all 16 games with seven starts totaling 192 yards and two touchdowns on 18 receptions. Touchdowns came versus N.Y. Giants (9/24) and at Arizona (12/10). Gave Seattle a spark on special teams taking over punt return duties versus Oakland (11/6) and kickoff returns versus Green Bay (11/27) and was named the NFC’s Pro Bowl alternate returner. Averaged 9.5 yards on 34 punt returns including a 90-yard touchdown return versus St. Louis (11/12). Score put Seattle up 21-16 in the fourth quarter and the return was the second-longest in franchise history (Charlie Rogers, 94 at Pittsburgh, 9/26/99). Became one of six players in NFL history to have two or more punt returns of 90 or more yards in a career. Averaged 24.7 yards on 26 kickoff returns with a long of 50 at Arizona. Average was fourth-best in team history.

Pro: Acquired as a restricted free agent by the Seahawks March 31, 2006. Enjoyed a breakout season in his second year in the NFL in 2004, becoming only the ninth player in Vikings history to post a 1,000-yard season. Joined Randy Moss as the only players in team history to catch a touchdown pass and return a punt for a touchdown in the same game when he accomplished the feat at Indianapolis (11/8/04). Originally selected in the third round (71st overall) of the 2003 Draft by the Vikings, the highest receiver drafted by the Vikings since Moss in 1998.

2003: Started first career game and scored first career touchdown on a 22-yard pass from Gus Frerotte versus San Francisco (9/28). Caught first career pass on a 6-yarder from Daunte Culpepper versus Chicago (9/14) on ESPN Sunday Night game.

2004: Played in all 16 games with 15 starts and led the team with 1,006 yards receiving to give the Vikings a 1,000-yard receiver for the 12th straight season. Broke the 100-yard mark in four games and nine receiving touchdowns were the most by a Vikings wide receiver other than Moss since Cris Carter’s nine in 2000. Posted the Vikings’ first punt return for a touchdown since 1999 and the second-longest punt return in team history with a 91-yarder at Indianapolis (11/8) on Monday Night Football. Also had a touchdown catch in the game. Recorded career highs in receptions (11) and receiving yards (141) the following week at Green Bay (11/14). Notched first-career back-to-back 100-yard games with 134 yards at Detroit (12/19) and 110 yards versus Green Bay (12/24). Posted first-career multi-touchdown receiving game with two at Detroit (12/19). Recorded career-long touchdown reception with a 68-yarder versus Green Bay (12/24). Registered first career 100-yard game at New Orleans (10/17) with 134 yards on six catches on Sunday Night Football. Caught first touchdown pass of the season at Houston (10/10). Caught four passes in each of the Vikings’ playoff games, with four for 60 yards and a 19-yard touchdown at Green Bay (1/9/05) in the Wild Card Game and four catches for 50 yards at Philadelphia (1/16/05) in Divisional Playoff Game.

2005: Bounced back from injuries to contribute in the final five games of the season. Lone score of the season came on a juggling 15-yard catch from Brad Johnson versus Detroit (11/6). Missed four games with injuries, inactive for games versus New Orleans (9/25), at Atlanta (10/2), at Chicago (10/16), and at Green Bay (11/21). Ended season on high note with season-best six catches for 66 yards versus Chicago (1/1/06). Season-long catch was 20-yarder versus Tampa Bay (9/11).
