NFL legend and avid gamer JAMAL ANDERSON, who was one of the league’s dominant players during the 1990s, will be participating in the Canadian stop of the 2007 EA Madden Challenge.

In 1998 Anderson rushed for 1,846 yards and 14 TDs while leading his Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl.

Anderson will be joined by 256 of the country’s top EA Madden NFL 08 video game players, including the winners of 12 regional qualifying tournaments. The participatnts will be playing on Xbox 360 consoles, vying for a chance at $100,000 in prizes and a spot in the EA Madden international finals in Los Angeles.

The Canadian EA Sports Madden Challenge – consisting of the 12 regional tournaments that were held at Best Buy locations across the country in October and the Toronto final – will determine who will represent Canada in Los Angeles and play for $100,000 USD.
