Canadian-born tight end Teyo Johnson signs on with Buffalo Bills

Canadian-born tight end Teyo Johnson has signed with the Buffalo Bills, the NFL team announced Tuesday.

The six-foot-six, 245-pound Johnson, a native of White Rock, B.C., missed all of last year due to injury. He spent the preseason with the Denver Broncos but was placed on injured reserve Aug. 29 before reaching an injury settlement two days later.

Johnson was selected in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2003 NFL draft by the Oakland Raiders. He played football and basketball at Stanford.

Johnson's older brother, Riall, is a defensive end with the CFL's Toronto Argonauts.
