TSN.ca also has extensive coverage of the 2008 NFL Draft, providing pick-by-pick coverage of the first round on the website’s NFL page. Following the first round, all picks will be posted as each round concludes. Football fans looking to get a jump-start on the weekend’s festivities can go to TSN.ca for a full draft preview, including a mock draft and a synopsis of what each team needs heading into the Draft.

ESPN’s Chris Berman and Mel Kiper Jr. will host Saturday’s TV coverage alongside analysts Keyshawn Johnson, Steve Young and NFL Insider Chris Mortensen. Monday Night Football’s Mike Tirico and Ron Jaworski will be joined by College GameDay’s Kirk Herbstreit to provide on-site commentary, while Suzy Kolber will interview draftees and other special guests.

While the Miami Dolphins have already made Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long the No. 1 overall pick in Saturday’s Draft, signing him to a five-year contract earlier this week, there is no definitive order for how the rest of the afternoon will unfold. The 2008 NFL Draft boasts an extremely talented crop of young talent, with Arkansas running back Darren McFadden, Virginia defensive end Chris Long, LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey and Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan (in no particular order) expected to be taken on Day 1.

TSN will televise 42 NFL games this season, beginning with the season opener between Washington and the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants on September 4. All games will be available in High Definition on TSN HD.
