Jills and Bills in T.O.

Toronto football fans got up close and personal with the Buffalo Jills and Bills All-Pro Brian Moorman at a Bills Toronto Series pep rally Thursday.

The Jills, who performed and mingled with downtown commuters at Brookfield Place (Bay and Front streets), were also joined by Bills mascot Billy Buffalo.

“I think it is safe to say that Toronto has Bills fever,” said Sarah, a member of the Jills who was born in nearby Hamilton. “The excitement here is palpable.”

Moorman, who has represented the Bills at the past two Pro Bowls in Hawaii, signed autographs and helped run a trivia contest at centre stage.

“I’m really excited about our upcoming games in Toronto,” said Moorman. “I am a punter, so I’m a little more excited than most of the guys to have a roof over the field, but the whole team is really excited. This is a beautiful city.”

Downtown commuters who took in the action also had the chance to learn about VIP ticket packages, which are still available at www.billsintoronto.com
