Bills QB visits Pickering School

It was a day to remember for second-grader Dallas Earle. The Holy Redeemer Catholic school student from Pickering, Ontario, took an NFL player to school, had her first limo ride, and learned a lot about bullying.

Earle won the visit from Bills QB Trent Edwards through the NFL's Take a Player to School online contest.

After spending half an hour at her home and giving Earle a ride to school in a stretch limousine, Edwards mingled with Holy Redeemer students and highlighted an assembly about bullying.

"It's really all about treating people with respect," said the Bills second year starter, who will be back in Toronto December 3 to take on the New York Jets. "Treating people the way you'd like to be treated is the best anti-bullying device that there is."

After the assembly Edwards stuck around to spend time in Earle's classroom, joining the second grade math lesson.

"I love spending time with kids, and hope that I can do my part to point young people in the right direction," said Edwards.

The Stanford grad also delivered some signed NFL merchandise and Buffalo Bills tickets to the Earle household.

More than 600 kids from across Ontario entered the contest on NFLCanada.com.
