Romberg looks for stability with Falcons

After a star-studded career as both guard and center for the NCAA national champion Miami Hurricanes, Windsor's Brett Romberg was excited about the 2003 NFL Draft.

He was a consensus All-America and All-Big East selection as a senior, won the Dave Rimington Award as the nation’s top center and was named CBSSportsline.com All-America first-team as a junior.

Yet on draft day, Romberg's name wasn't called. Yet he persevered and signed as a free agent in Jacksonville, and spent the next three years bouncing between the team's regular and practice roster.
